How to copy-paste text from copy-protected web pages for offline reading!

One of my friends was planning to travel to a place, where Internet access would be a remote possibility. He wanted to copy-paste some interesting articles from various websites in order to read them offline. However, he was not able to copy-paste a news article from a particular website as it was copy-protected. He was neither able to select using mouse nor his right-click was giving him choice to select or copy. He called me up for the solution. I told him that there was a solution like saving the entire webpage for offline reading in a HTML format. But my friend was only interested in knowing the way to copy-paste that article. After I opened the link sent by him, I realized that Google Chrome offered an option to "View Page Source". I opened it andsearched for the title of the article that my friend wanted to copy-paste. At first hit itself, I was able to find out the entire article, but in HTML code. When I told this to my friend, he said that we can copy-paste the desired text along with the HTML code and  the remove the HTML codes later. He also added that he was going to take that content just for reading purpose and using it for any other purpose will be a violation of copyrights......

And after a gap of about 2 months, I came across one more way to copy text from copy-protected webpages:
  • Type cache: copy paste the URL of the webpage in the address bar of Google Chrome
  • You will reach the page which says.."This is Google cache of "......"
  • Click on the link given at bottom left of the message i.e: Text only version
  • Scroll down till you reach the desired article
  • Congratulations! You can copy-paste it now! :)
